Past Projects
Flamingo Convention Center
The Flamingo Convention Center consisted of approx. 90,000 square feet of space that required accurate documentation of existing conditions. The intent for this project was to completely re-design the interior design of the space. Drawings of the existing space were non-existent. A project of this magnitude required accurate information as the foundation of a proper design. The final design drawings also needed to be accurate for prospective contractors to bid. KME provided scanning of the entire space and provided 3D models and BIM models to the architects and designers.
Planet Hollywood – Starbucks
KME Scanning provided field survey information to Starbucks to accurately document the condition of their stores for remodeling. As part of the design process Starbucks requires accurate BIM models of the existing space to determine what can be redesigned. Starbucks also requires that the context area around their store be well documented to keep a consistent style with the surround areas.
Mandalay Bay – Starbucks
KME Scanning provided field survey information to Starbucks to accurately document the condition of their stores for remodeling. As part of the design process Starbucks requires accurate BIM models of the existing space to determine what can be redesigned. Starbucks also requires that the context area around their store be well documented to keep a consistent style with the surround areas.
Guadalupe Medical – Tenant Improvement Field Measure
KME Laser Scanning provided existing condition field surveying to clearly document the existing conditions of a pre-occupied medical office space. KME Laser Scanning worked together with the architect to provide an accurate CAD drawing of the existing space. This was then utilized in the redesign of the new office Tenant Improvement. The ability to accurately document the existing conditions provided information on elements of the existing space (i.e. walls, mechanical, electrical, etc.) that could be re-used and save the owner cost in the construction process.
Allure Retail
KME Laser Scanning was commissioned to field verify the square footage for leasable space in an existing retail space. The space consisted of 4 separate spaces each of which shared a complex curved perimeter wall that made field measuring with tape measure and common tool very difficult and time consuming. KME scanned the existing spaces quickly and accurately, processed the files and translated the data into floor plans that could be used to determine the leasable square footage.
Eclipse 2 Movie Theatre
Working off the successes of the original Eclipse Movie Theater in Downtown Las Vegas, this theater will replicate those same entertainment elements within the Tuscan designs in Summerlin Las Vegas. This will incorporate seven new theaters, a restaurant, bar, pool hall, lounge and rooftop dining experiences. There will also be additional tenant spaces available for use by other businesses. All of this built over an existing parking garage structure and existing neighboring structures that give this a unique challenge that must be mapped out in high precision for proper design. Knowing the existing has already given insight into potential challenges, with a sloped concrete site of the existing concrete pedestal where the new structure will sit.
MGM Sports book
KME Scanning provided field survey information for a portion of the existing MGM Sportsbook to be renovated. As part of the design process the client required an accurate BIM model of the existing space to determine as a basis of the new design.
Margaritaville
KME Laser Scanning provide preliminary site survey information in the form of 3D point cloud to provide an accurate account of the existing conditions for the remodel of this restaurant.
